Eugenio Herrera advises clients on high-stakes disputes and crises where legal exposure, public scrutiny and business interests converge. As founder of WolfBoomerang, he brings together legal analysis, strategic advice and crisis management to help clients protect their position, preserve credibility and make consequential decisions under pressure.

His practice spans complex litigation and international arbitration, sensitive corporate matters and reputational threats. Working closely with clients and their other legal counsel, he advises on strategic choices, the demands of legal proceedings and the broader consequences of decisions taken during a crisis.

Eugenio previously served as General Counsel of Grupo Reforma, one of Mexico’s most influential news organizations, and as General Counsel and Compliance Officer of CFEnergía, a major participant in Mexico’s natural gas market. These roles give him a distinctive perspective on how legal risk, institutional decisions and media scrutiny interact—and how to respond when they converge.

He holds a master’s degree in international law from Georgetown University.

Andrea Espinosa is an economist and lawyer whose work connects legal analysis, economic context and strategic communications. At WolfBoomerang, she helps translate complex legal and commercial matters into clear, persuasive positions for clients operating in highly regulated industries and facing public scrutiny.

Her practice includes developing content for sensitive matters, preparing thought-leadership pieces for leading media and designing communications plans for high-profile controversies.

Andrea brings multidisciplinary experience across legal, economic and public-policy advisory roles in both the public and corporate sectors. She previously advised the Mexican Senate, drafting legislative rationales and working with stakeholders to build consensus around proposed amendments.

She holds a degree in Economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a master’s degree in Energy from University College London.
